MiniMax launches a July 28 research series on reasoning, agents, and evaluation

MiniMax is launching a recurring research event series called “Intelligence in the Open,” aimed at bringing researchers and builders together to discuss AI work in reasoning, agents, and evaluation.
The first edition is scheduled for July 28, from 6:00–9:00 PM at UpScaleX in San Francisco. The speaker lineup includes talks from researchers and practitioners at Protege AI, Together, AI Briefcase, KeenableAI, and others, covering topics such as counterfactual evaluation for clinical LLMs, test-time learning, and frontier knowledge-work evaluation.
