OpenAI Codex users are reporting much tighter usage limits, with one user saying 40% of their weekly quota disappeared after running multiple high-tier subagents all day.
- They say the weekly usage meter dropped far faster than expected.
- The complaint also says banked resets via inviting friends were removed.
- The post frames the change as a tradeoff between resets and steadily shrinking quotas.
