CoreWeave and Oracle have both lost more than a third as AI trade unwinds
GaryMarcus · x · 2026-07-25
Nobody can time exactly when an AI bubble ends, but Gary Marcus points to a sharp selloff in the space: CoreWeave and Oracle have both fallen by roughly a third recently, while Oracle is down nearly two-thirds from its September peak and CoreWeave more than 50% from its 12-month high.
His point is simple: even if nobody can mark the exact top, the magnitude of the drawdown suggests something structural is happening in the AI-related market.
