Jensen Huang shares NVIDIA letter arguing open models matter for safety and sovereignty

Jensen Huang posted his first tweet to share an NVIDIA-signed letter on why open models matter.
He argues that AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. In the letter, NVIDIA says open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and support sovereignty. The message also says the world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
