Google DeepMind's Frontier Computation team (Petar Veličković et al.) is hiring Student Researchers in London to work with Re Rayne and Tim Nguyen, covering agentic optimisation, learning algorithms/simulations, OOD generalisation, AI4Physics, CFD, and numerical math.
Requirements:
- Enrolled PhD student (non-PhD students can apply to the broader Student Researcher Program)
- Tangible output in at least one area (papers, implementations)
- Willing to relocate to London and work in-person at the P37 office
- Proficient at both agentic and "manual" coding
