Gary Marcus responds to Grady Booch on AGI timing, saying that 20 years from now sounds plausible, while 80+ years does not.
Booch had said he still believes AGI is a generation or more away, and Marcus frames the disagreement as one of the few topics where they part ways on the timeline.
