Vercel lets Workflows pin state to a region, with AI Gateway limits coming soon

Vercel says Workflows can now keep each run’s state in a chosen region, defaulting to the region where the run starts.
The change matters for agents because their loop state can live in the same region as the code writing it. The post also notes that sandboxes and AI Gateway with region limits are coming soon.
