HCLTech plans $1.5B AI data center in Odisha with Sarvam AI and state govt

HCLTech is reportedly investing $1.5 billion to build an AI data center in Odisha, India. The company has signed an MoU with Sarvam AI and the Odisha government to set up the facility in Bhubaneswar, with a planned capital outlay of ₹14,257 crore.
According to the post, the project will be located in the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park and is intended to combine HCLTech’s infrastructure capabilities with Sarvam AI’s models to build sector-specific AI applications for enterprise and government customers.
