AMP founder calls for a U.S. financing program to help AI startups buy compute

Anjney Midha, founder of AMP PBC, argues that U.S. AI startups face a financing gap when they try to secure compute years in advance. He says private credit markets often do not treat startups as investment-grade counterparties, which makes long-term compute procurement difficult.

His proposal is for a financing program that would help the ecosystem recognize the quality of innovative startups and make it easier for them to lock in the compute capacity they need to compete.
