He argues that limiting access to open-source models would create a duopoly between OpenAI and Anthropic. Long-term, this would shift the industry's core value away from data center infrastructure and semiconductors heavily towards the AI model layer. Ultimately, this monopoly structure would also harm the semiconductor industry.
