NVIDIA and KAIST launch South Korea’s first joint university AI lab

At the AI Summit in San Francisco, NVIDIA said South Korea is advancing a full-stack AI push with ecosystem partners.
- NVIDIA and KAIST announced a joint AI research lab at KAIST’s Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI in Seoul.
- NVIDIA says it is the first joint AI lab between a Korean university and any global technology company.
- The lab will focus on agentic AI, combining NVIDIA full-stack expertise, Nemotron open models, and NVIDIA AI Cloud partner compute with KAIST researchers.
- NVIDIA also highlighted its long-running partnership with SK Group, including expanded work on memory for NVIDIA platforms across AI infrastructure, personal AI, and physical AI.
