Indexable filter URLs may boost ChatGPT visibility, but Google can punish the abuse

The post warns against creating huge numbers of indexable filtered product URLs just to surface in ChatGPT or other AI search results.

It argues that while some companies may be seeing short-term visibility gains, the long-term cost can be severe: 10,000 products can easily explode into 100,000 indexable URLs, which may trigger Google’s content-abuse systems and damage visibility across Google surfaces.

The takeaway is that scale-generated URL bloat is a risky AI-era SEO tactic, not a sustainable growth strategy.
