Moonshot’s Kimi K3 is pulled into a training-hardware governance dispute

The post comments on claims that Moonshot’s Kimi K3 did not “get so good” by exploiting Anthropic’s Fable, and argues that if a company is allowed to run huge training jobs on frontier hardware, there should be a reporting mechanism for who is using it.
It also says there is currently no legal constraint preventing Moonshot from doing this, which makes the issue less about model quality in isolation and more about training access, hardware governance, and possible disclosure rules.
