GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.74 adds MCP support, subagent timelines, and plan-mode model selection
The new release brings a long list of workflow fixes and agent features: support for Open Plugin Spec v1 manifests and mcp.json, better IDE reconnect behavior, more reliable subagent timelines, improved session switching, and a new /model plan command to choose the model used in plan mode.
It also adds support for gemini-3.6-flash, preserves = in environment-variable values during /mcp add and /mcp edit, and fixes several shell, session, and request-size issues.
