Elon Musk said Grok 4.5 is “making progress,” after a quoted post noted that its token volume is surging on OpenRouter and has pushed into the top 10 closed models, ahead of GPT 5.6 Sol and Fable 5. The post also suggests some users migrated from Tencent’s free Hy3 model after its promotional period ended on July 21.
