Elon Musk says attempts to slow down intelligence and robots are unlikely to work, because “all roads lead to the acceleration of AI.”
In the quote, he says he originally stayed out of AI, helped create OpenAI as a counterweight to Google’s AI dominance, and thinks the downstream effects of OpenAI and Anthropic have accelerated the field even more. His bottom line: people can either resist the trend or “join the club.”
