YC adds Cosmic Robotics to its summer batch
James A. Emerick says Cosmic Robotics has joined Y Combinator’s summer batch to speed up its mission: building autonomous construction robots that could eventually help build a city on Mars.
The startup says its systems are already working on some of the largest energy projects in the US, which makes this more than a speculative moonshot pitch—it’s a robotics company with real-world industrial deployment today.
