The paper Latent Riemannian Flow Matching for Geometry-Grounded 3D Foundation Models by Weijler et al. introduces a novel approach. By performing denoising on the latent space of VGGT, the method effectively leverages its 3D priors. To ensure the process stays on the manifold, the authors utilize Riemannian flow matching.
