Via Lisa Su, AMD says EPYC Turin delivers up to 1.8× performance thanks to higher IPC and higher frequency.
The company claims Turin is built on TSMC’s newest 2nm process, packs 203 billion transistors, and uses a next-generation chiplet design that supports up to 512 threads per socket.
