Codex still hides spawned-agent metadata and keeps forking full turn history
bdsqlsz · x · 2026-07-23
A follow-up reply says Codex’s agent issue is getting worse and reiterates the core bug: hidespawnagentmetadata cannot be set to False, so the main model cannot see agent information. The attached code screenshot suggests a workaround: use forkturns set to none or keep it very small, instead of letting every subagent inherit the full turn history.
