Agentic AI is moving from assistant to systems that can do part of the work

The post argues that agentic AI is being underestimated.
It contrasts ordinary chatbot use with agents that can set goals, choose steps, call tools and APIs, retrieve information, keep context, and complete tasks with little human input. The author’s main point is that AI is shifting from a tool that helps people work to one that can increasingly do parts of the work itself.
It also says every developer and technical professional should learn how agents work, and promotes a free live workshop on July 30 where the group will build an AI customer support agent from scratch and explain the architecture.
