The companion chart breaks down new derivative models released each month by the region of their tracked base models. It shows a clear shift over time:
- China’s share of new derivatives has grown substantially since 2024
- The US remains a major contributor but no longer dominates the monthly mix
- Europe stays a smaller but visible slice
The chart tracks share rather than raw counts, making it easier to compare where new fine-tuned or derivative models are coming from month by month.
