SaTML 2027 announced, for the first time, separate calls for competitions and workshops alongside its CFP.
- Deadlines: Aug. 28, 2026
- Notifications: Sept. 18, 2026
- Scope: trustworthy and secure ML
- Competition track: proposals for data-science competitions with clear scientific questions and well-defined problems/data sets provided by organizers
- Workshop track: proposals for focused discussions on emerging topics, with formats such as invited talks, panels, paper presentations, tutorials, and community-building sessions
The conference says both tracks should advance the scientific and practical deployment of trustworthy secure machine learning, with an explicit encouragement for work with positive social impact and support for underserved communities.
