Motion UI lands in the shadcn registry with CLI, prompt generator, and MCP support
shadcn · x · 2026-07-23
Motion UI is now wired into the shadcn registry, so developers can pull production-ready, white-label React UI components straight into their design flow.
The post highlights three integration paths:
- shadcn CLI and Tailwind CSS for direct drop-in use
- a one-click prompt generator for adapting the components with an AI agent
- a Motion MCP server for agent-based workflows
In short, it is a developer-facing distribution and integration update, not just a UI showcase.
