Arcade CEO says enterprise AI agents hit a permissions bottleneck, not an intelligence one

Arcade CEO Alex Salazar argues that the real bottleneck for enterprise AI agents is not intelligence, but permissions and provable rule-following.
In the conversation, he says companies care less about how smart an agent is and more about what it is allowed to do, how to verify compliance, and how to keep humans in the loop. His view is that human-plus-agent workflows are beating full autonomy for now, especially when agents touch real business systems.
