Claude Code bug report says built-in Task tools can disappear mid-session

An issue report on anthropics/claude-code says the built-in Task tools (TaskCreate, TaskGet, TaskList, TaskUpdate) can intermittently disappear during a session.
- Affected versions: Claude Code 2.1.217 and 2.1.218 on macOS arm64.
- In some sessions, ToolSearch returned no matches for the Task tools even though other deferred tools were available.
- In another session, the tools were available at first, then a system notice said the MCP server disconnected and the Task tools vanished mid-session.
- The reporter ruled out the terminal wrapper as the cause and notes the task-display UI silently breaks when the tools are missing.
