For a 1 GW data center, build 2 GW into the grid

A simple rule for large data-center builds: if you want to add an X-gigawatt site to the grid, make sure 2X gigawatts get added to the power system.
The post argues that power is the bigger bottleneck, so capacity planning should assume substantial headroom rather than matching nominal demand one-for-one.
