A user tried the new Claude Code security release and reported that it burned through about $600 in tokens before the workflow finished, then the classifier bricked the session.

The quote-tweet frames the product as not yet useful in practice, despite Claude’s announcement that the beta plugin can scan changes for vulnerabilities before commit or run a full codebase scan from the terminal.
