Matthew Green on Fable's cryptography blind spot
Mathematicians are getting LLMs to help solve famous open conjectures, but Matthew Green says he still can't get Fable to even engage with the harder cryptography problems he cares about.
And when he does manage to push a question through, the model behaves absurdly: it "sticks crayons up its nose."
