The author says they kept running into the same gap while setting up model routing for coding agents, so they built Switchloom over the past few days.
It is an open-source tool for deterministic model routing for coding agents. The product is aimed at letting teams pick a runtime, assign roles, and get a ready-to-run setup for agent workflows.
