Gemini 3.6 Flash Becomes the Default Model for Managed Agents

Google officially announced that Gemini 3.6 Flash is now the new default model for Gemini Managed Agents. Users' agents will automatically run on this model without requiring any code changes.
Developers can still route back to 3.5 Flash or use Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite anytime by manually setting the target model ID directly in their agent configuration. Google also provided an interactive multi-agent app called TICKR in AI Studio for developers to try out.
