NSF backs PoLARIS, a remotely accessible AI robotic lab for soft materials

Researchers at UChicago PME, UChicago CS, and Argonne have launched PoLARIS, an NSF-funded effort to build a remotely accessible, AI-driven robotic lab for soft materials. The project is aimed at letting researchers run experiments remotely through a robotized lab setup.
