Glow exits stealth with a $1.2B valuation
Glow emerged from stealth with a $180 million Series A at a $1.2 billion valuation, backed by Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, Redpoint, Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective and Holly Ventures.
The company is betting that enterprise security needs to move from detecting bad software after the fact to preventing risky software, AI agents and developer tools from entering endpoints in the first place. Glow runs its own specialized AI agents on laptops and other endpoints, using models from Anthropic and Google Gemini via Amazon Bedrock to map devices, score risk in real time and enforce policy. It says it has already blocked malicious npm packages and caught AI agents trying to pull them in.
