Snap Spectacles demo turns World Cup tracking data into editable photoreal replay
stspanho · x · 2026-07-22
How it works
- Real World Cup tracking data for every player and the ball is rebuilt into a 3D scene.
- Pitch-line camera calibration locks that scene to the real broadcast camera.
- Snap Spectacles hand tracking lets the user grab and move players in the scene.
- A generative video model turns the edited 3D “blockout” back into photoreal football footage.
Two rendering modes
- Real time: @DecartAI Lucy 2.5 updates the broadcast live as you move a defender.
- Full render: Seedance regenerates the whole phase as a new photoreal clip.
