Mark Cuban says many AI data centers may end up as pickleball courts

Mark Cuban argues that many AI data centers may eventually be repurposed, even into pickleball courts, because compute price-performance will keep improving.

He compares the situation to fiber: capacity kept jumping from 1G to 10G to 100G, and the market eventually stopped having a fiber bottleneck. His point is that AI infrastructure may follow a similar path as breakthroughs improve efficiency on both the AI and data-center sides.
