Runway shows a real-time conversational character built from a single image
At SIGGRAPH’s Real-Time Live!, Runway demonstrated Characters, a system that turns one image into a live conversational avatar with:
- natural facial expressions
- lip-sync
- personality-driven interaction
The demo used an expressive cat mascot to show the character reacting in real time on stage.
