Open source is being positioned as a real challenger to the AI duopoly, according to Bindu Reddy.
He says Kimi K3 is only the first release in the wave, and that Qwen, DeepSeek, and GLM are all coming soon. He also argues that the U.S. open-source ecosystem is not far behind.
