The author says they started believing automated infrastructure attacks by agentic AI were the real risk about 1.5 years ago, after seeing an early XBOW demo.
Their argument is that this attack class is simpler than web-app exploitation, and that AI which can discover environment-specific attacks on the fly may end up outperforming fixed exploit techniques.
