VRChat Renders 4km² Area with 85M-Point Gaussian Splatting Scene

Developer Michael Moroz showcased the newest version of his VRCGS project, implementing large-scale 3D Gaussian Splatting rendering within VRChat.
The demo world features a 4x2 kilometer splat of Jastrzębia Góra, Poland, containing a massive 85 million splats, demonstrating impressive visual fidelity and scale for consumer VR environments.
