OpenAI’s Codex Rust client v0.145.0 adds paginated thread history, broader import support, Bedrock login and custom endpoints, audio inputs and realtime V3 conversations, and a more stable multi-agent V2 experience.
The release also improves terminal inline visualizations, conversation branching, long-conversation responsiveness, MCP startup reliability, and Windows sandboxing and execution behavior. It is a substantial engineering-focused update for the Codex CLI and related agent workflows.
