A developer built a small shopping app, instrumented it with OpenTelemetry, piped the telemetry into Dynatrace, and used Port as a context layer to connect live operational signals with engineering knowledge.
The point of the setup is to make troubleshooting more agentic:
- instead of staring at dashboards and guessing,
- the user can ask what is happening,
- and get live health data plus human context in one place.
