Unitree launches a remote real-robot benchmark on its own G1 fleet

Unitree has launched the UniBot World Challenge, a remote real-robot evaluation cloud that runs on its own physical G1 fleet.
- Participants do not download a test set; they submit a live policy server that exposes getaction and a set of consecutive ports, one per test robot.
- Unitree then executes the policy on real robots, not simulation, in a multi-robot evaluation cluster.
- The benchmark is designed to resist memorization with distractors, unseen objects, and human interference — a contrast to benchmarks like LIBERO.
- Unitree says the challenge covers 32 tasks, 32,000 demos, and 169 hours in total, though the public Hugging Face datasets appear much smaller and unevenly distributed across tasks.
