LeRobot v0.6.0 adds an end-to-end 3D depth pipeline for robot training data.
- Depth camera inputs are preserved through encoding at 12-bit precision, or stored as raw lossless data if compression is skipped.
- The release also exposes all RGB video encoding parameters and adds a live benchmark leaderboard to help tune them.
- The same depth pipeline is used in Stanford SVL’s BEHAVIOR-1K 2026 dataset, which includes 20,000 simulated manipulation episodes with depth data.
