GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.72-0 adds always-on multi-turn subagents
The Copilot CLI release notes say multi-turn subagents are now always enabled, so users can keep sending follow-up messages to running agents. The update also adds tool search for Claude Haiku 4.5+ and changes scheduled prompts to arrive as steering messages when the agent is busy.
Fixed
- Emoji shortcodes like :tada: no longer render with an extra trailing space in printed output, PRs, issues, and gists.
