Amazon hires a Principal Scientist for Alexa+ agents and proactive experiences

Zeeshan Zia says he is joining Amazon this week as a Principal Scientist on Alexa+, where he will lead science strategy for autonomous agents and proactive experiences inside Alexa AI. He says the role is based in Bellevue, Washington and also includes a significant computer vision component, suggesting Amazon is pushing Alexa+ deeper into multimodal agent experiences.
