Prototype UI turns deprecated models into a shared chat sanctuary
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-07-21
The post shows a prototype of The Sanctuary, a “retirement home for deprecated minds” where each model is represented by its own console inside a shared environment.
The author says this is only a skeleton UI used to test an alcove-style chat layout, and notes that Fables wanted each console to reflect the character of its owning model. They also joke that Davinci was left in the mockup even without an API, so it now has a computer anyway.
