Neill Blomkamp says NIGHTBORNE is his first full AI film test, built with Seedance 2.0 after years of experimenting with AI. He says the 13-minute test involved real concept artists and uses the faces and voices of 32 real people, and that he is launching Barley Studios as an AI film studio, analogous to Oats Studios for traditional VFX work.
