Minimal Mac notch widget shows when Codex agents finish running
marclou · x · 2026-07-21
A user built a minimalist Mac notch widget for running coding agents: Pac-Man stays active while an agent is working in Codex, turns green when the job finishes, and the notch expands on hover to show running and completed threads.
The post riffs on a side-by-side Mac notch app that already supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Antigravity, OpenCode, and Pi, and suggests the Codex team should add the feature natively.
