Creator panaviscope released Episode 1 of '1848', their most ambitious project to date. It is a long-form AI thriller set in Switzerland in 1848, following a mysterious traveler investigating the death of a young woman three months after her murder.
The creator noted that for years, AI filmmaking has been dominated by short clips and technical demonstrations. This series serves as an experiment in long-form storytelling, aiming to shift the focus back to characters, dialogue, atmosphere, and world-building.
