Kimi K3 can now run inside Codex through an OAuth proxy
A user reports that Kimi K3 now works inside Codex without an API key, using an existing subscription instead.
- The setup uses opencodex, a local proxy that sits between Codex and 40+ providers.
- It supports OAuth login for Kimi, Anthropic, and xAI with automatic token refresh.
- After a short setup (npm install, ocx init, ocx start, ocx login kimi), K3 appears in Codex’s model picker with reasoning controls.
